During spring break we took Ella to the Memphis Zoo with the rest of my family. Ella has really been into looking at and talking about animals so we thought it was a good time to take her. It was soo much fun! The weather was great and the animals were out; you can't always have this so we were grateful. Ella started out slow, I think the ride made her sleepy, but she warmed up. She loved the zebras and giraffes and wanted to hug them. But, she did not like the orangatangs at all!! She was also scared of the farm animals. Her favorite animal from the day, the one she talked about all day, and smiled so big to see was the tiger. This surprised me because she hardly talked about tigers before this. So, we had to get her a stuffed tiger to bring home, and she loves it! She feeds it, kisses it, and lays it down to rest just like it was a baby doll. We had so much fun that I can't wait to take her back!
Getting started with cousin, Lee, pulling her in the wagon. This wagon turned out to be a reat idea later in the day when the 3 little ones were all give out. And, of course, Ella 'read' the map all day.
The twins--it's so funny how they have the same expression in this picture!! They were looking hard at the animals.
Momma and her sweet girl
Our train ride around the farm animals. Ella loved this, and cried when we had to get off.
